Our Trout Pond
Our trout pond just went from draught conditions to completely full and now they are spawning! It's amazing what a few days of rain can do.

Yes, rain can be indeed be a blessing. :) However, draught condition can sometimes give the ponds the chance to have a much needed maintenance. It is the chance of the farmers/owners to restore the soil foundation and repair if ever there are leaks.

That's true Richelle! We were planning on taking advantage of the draught to repair the levee and add a bridge to several creeks on the property, but the rain hit before we had a chance. There's always next year I guess!
