Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Crust Review and Giveaway

***CLOSED**
***Winners have been notified***

We are huge pizza lovers. I usually make homemade pizza at least a few times a month, and we love to pick up take out pizza when we're pressed for time for a late dinner. I was really looking forward to trying Pillsbury's  new Artisan Pizza Crust because it allows me to get that "fresh baked" taste when I'm crunched for time and can't wait around for dough to rise.  The Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Crust dough (made with whole grain!) comes in a refrigerated tube that was easy to roll out into a pan. I just used my fingers to press it down and make it even. Then I put it in the oven for eight minutes while I was chopping up my peppers and onions. After letting the dough pre-bake, I added my sauce, peppers, onions, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese, and popped it back in the oven for ten more minutes. That's it! My fiance said that house smelled great. When I removed the pizza, the thick crust was a beautiful golden brown. I can tell the pizza won't last very long around here! It's the perfect quick, easy weeknight dinner that everyone will love. Download a coupon and give it a try! Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Crust with Whole Grain Coupon

My Custom Cushion Cut Henri Daussi Engagement Ring

Yes, I'm engaged! I'll have to do a full post about our entire trip and how it all unfolded. He proposed on December 12th at the beach in Ponce Inlet, Florida near the lighthouse..a storm was rolling in and there was a pod of dolphins in the background, it was crazy! Definitely everything I dreamt about and more. My ring is a custom cushion cut Henri Daussi halo and it couldn't be more perfect for me. I'm distracted every time I look at my hand. Bill secretly hired a photographer to be on the beach during the proposal, I can't wait to show you guys the pictures!

Our First Chicken Eggs!

Many of you know that we got eight chickens in the fall (two Rhode Island Reds, two Silver Lace Wing Wyandottes, two Buff Orpingtons and two Ameraucanas). They were around eight weeks old when we first brought them home. Well on our three year anniversary on February 4th they officially laid their first egg! We were so excited when we finally had enough to make a full breakfast. They taste amazing and I love that they're all natural and come from free-range, happy hens. Every day we go up to check the coop is like an Easter egg hunt!

Valentine's Day 2013

I felt so blessed to be spending Valentine's Day with my sweet, loving fiancé..he made my day so special. I love him so much!

I am a huge lover of all things tropical, so when I opened this box from Post containing their newest addition, Honey Bunches of Oats Tropical Blends, on a cold Pennsylvania winter day things got a little brighter! It contains mango flavored flakes and real coconut shavings, perfect for fruit lovers like myself, or anyone who wants to satisfy a sweet craving in a healthier way.

Look at all those crunchy clusters and coconut chunks, yum!

I love that it's made with four whole grains, nine essential vitamins and minerals (including 60% of your daily value of iron!), and only contains six grams of sugar and 120 calories per servings. I do wish it contained more chunks of fruit since I'm always looking for more ways to sneak fruit into my diet, but it's still a much healthier cereal than many that are on the market today. Overall, a yummy way to get some extra nutrients into your daily routine!

I'm giving three of my readers the opportunity to try their choice of cereal from the Honey Bunch of Oats line! Simply comment below with your favorite healthy snack to win. I will choose the winners and email them on March 10th.

Post also let me know about a fabulous sweepstakes they are holding right now. One lucky winner will be sent on a tropical paradise vacation to Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach, courtesy of the Purex brand, Honey Bunch of Oats, and Outrigger Hotels and Resorts!
